KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Director, Finance and Accounting - Financial Applications Support (FAS) to join our CFO organization.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Finance and Accounting and Information Technology (IT) leadership to create a technology roadmap and facilitate deployment of strategic initiatives for Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) Finance, Engagement Management and Billing (EMB), and Human Capital Management (HCM) as well as Accounting Service Center (ASC) applications
- Direct a team of professionals who are subject matter experts supporting the various SAP and ASC applications
- Implement SAP change requests and planned enhancements, including creation of business requirements documents, review and approval of functional specifications, approval of cost estimates, testing of new functionality and facilitation of training and organizational change management as the liaison between the Finance and Accounting and technical teams
- Lead implementation of new tools, applications, and reports for Finance and Accounting to ensure continuous improvement, quality, and accuracy of Finance and Accounting processes
- Primary product owner for the ASC website and Core Finance module; works with IT to add new or enhance existing functionalities, monitor, and manage issue resolution
- Collaborate with Central Reporting, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) teams, IT and Finance and Accounting to determine solutions for all Finance and Accounting teams' reporting needs
Qualifications:
- Minimum ten years of recent experience in Financial Applications Support with exposure to accounting, financial analysis, and reporting (preferably in a professional services firm)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
- SAP experience required; S4/HANA background preferred
- Process automation experience
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
