KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Finance Data Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions that enable advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Research, evaluate, and implement new AI, machine learning, and data science tools and technologies to continuously improve data management, analytics capabilities, predict trends and optimize operations
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing and maintaining robust data validation and quality control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and create data-driven opportunities through scalable solutions
- Develop tools that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of insight generation, assisting internal stakeholders in presenting findings and recommendations to senior management
- Construct and build systems that empower our team to conduct thorough analyses and generate valuable insights
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of recent experience in AI, machine learning, or related fields, preferably within a finance or accounting context; solid experience developing solutions in Databricks or Jupyter Notebooks preferred
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and SQL; experience with machine learning model development, strong data architecture and solution-building skills, and exposure to AI frameworks and advanced financial systems
- Strong analytical expertise with the ability to design systems for complex data sets and deliver high-quality, reliable work through meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions; financial knowledge is a plus
