About the Team

The Salesforce Technology Implementation team at KPMG Australia is a collaborative, multidisciplinary group that combines expertise in industry, strategy, technology, and process to deliver end-to-end Salesforce solutions. The team works closely with clients to enable business transformation through Salesforce technology, helping them achieve goals such as improving service levels, launching new products, streamlining operations, and enhancing customer experiences. Leveraging KPMG's Powered Enterprise methodology, the team integrates leading practises, change management, and tailored training to ensure smooth transitions and maximise return on investment.

Key offerings of the team include:

  • Comprehensive Salesforce implementation – strategy through deployment.
  • Digital lending transformation through Salesforce and nCino.
  • Building business value cases aligned with strategic goals.
  • Diagnostic reviews to optimise existing Salesforce implementations.
  • Cybersecurity hardening and risk management in regulated industries

Purpose

As a Salesforce Designer at KPMG, you will play a pivotal role in transforming client organisations by designing innovative Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them adopt best practises, leverage out-of-the-box functionality, and deliver customer-centric outcomes that drive measurable value.

Goal

The primary goal of the Salesforce Designer is to design and deliver functional, scalable, and innovative Salesforce solutions that empower client organisations to achieve their business goals. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring that every solution is user-friendly, efficient, and strategically aligned.

Accountabilities

As a Salesforce Designer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on "the art of the possible" with Salesforce, ensuring best practises and out-of-box functionality are adopted to meet current and future customer needs.
  • Collaborating with Architects, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other Designers to create business capability maps, process flows, personas, customer journeys, and detailed functional specifications.
  • Gathering, developing, and prioritising requirements/user stories in partnership with SMEs and ensuring team understanding.
  • Configuring and conducting system demonstrations, creating prototypes, and wireframes for workshops.
  • Configuring out-of-the-box Salesforce functionalities and conducting unit testing of components.
  • Supporting change management efforts, enabling smooth business transitions, and assisting with user adoption to establish long-term value.

Experience

  • Proven experience in Salesforce platform implementation, including designing and configuring solutions for business transformation.
  • Strong communication skills for relaying complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders, from technical teams to non-technical clients.
  • An innovative, "can-do" mindset with a passion for solving problems using Salesforce technology.
  • Experience in user-centric design methodologies, including the creation of customer journeys and business process flows

Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications, including but not limited to:
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator
    • Sales Cloud Consultant
    • Service Cloud Consultant
    • Platform App Builder
  • A relevant university degree or an industry-recognised qualification.
