Within the division, our Management Consulting team, partners with clients to tackle their most complex business challenges. A key part of this is our Social and Affordable housing, Strategy & Operations division, which works closely with all levels of governments, community and disability housing organisations, along with private developers and financiers, to define strategic direction, optimise partnership models, enhance service delivery, and drive transformative change, that results in increased availability and affordability of housing across Australia. We bring together deep public and community housing sector knowledge, housing and social impact policy experience, analytical rigour, and operational insight to deliver lasting impact.
Job Description
Forming part of the Social and Affordable Housing Strategy & Operations team, this Manager role will play a key role in strategic and operational transformation initiatives for clients delivering or seeking to deliver, more social, affordable and disability housing by:
Delivering strategy projects – supporting organisations and agencies to define policy direction and implementation, enhance partnership models, improve operational efficiency, and respond to evolving housing demand.
Manage client relationships, project teams, and deliverables with a focus on quality and innovation.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of the social and affordable housing advisory practice.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sector specific tailored solutions that align with client goals.

Proven management experience within public or community housing organisations.
Project or operational management experience, ideally having led or managed small projects or engagements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
Experience working within a consulting environment is highly regarded but not essential.
A growth mindset and desire to build your own capability and team.

This role suits a social and affordable housing practitioner, with operational property and or tenancy management experience, looking for a new challenge in a collaborative, high-impact environment. Qualifications
We are looking for applicants that have Tertiary qualifications in business, social care, property, or a related field.
