  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams and junior architects.

  • Create and deliver architectural documentation, design patterns, and technical artifacts.

  • Support the development of data governance frameworks and strategies for data quality, lineage, and access management.

  • Drive performance optimization, scalability, and reliability in data platform architectures.

  • Engage in pre-sales activities, contributing to solution proposals, effort estimation, and technical presentations.

How are you extraordinary:

  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • You are able to manage multiple programs for work simultaneously and have commercial experience with proposing new services and solutions

  • You also have a demonstrated ability to lead technical workshops and engage with both technical and business audiences.

  • You have strong problem-solving and analytical skill and an ability to produce high-quality documentation including written and diagrammatic for proposals, presentations and project artefacts.

  • You are a collaborative team player with a consulting mindset.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar considered favourably

  • Extensive experience designing and implementing data platforms on the Microsoft cloud stack (Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Power BI, etc.).

  • Strong expertise in data architecture patterns, including data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouses, and real-time data processing.

  • Proficiency in modern data engineering tools and techniques, including ELT/ETL, data pipelines, and orchestration tools.

  • Solid understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data security best practices.

  • Experience working in a systems integrator or professional services environment, delivering client-facing solutions.
