About the Role
As a Salesforce Solution Architect (Presales), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and winning Salesforce engagements for KPMG’s clients and member firms. You will lead presales activities, including RFP responses, solution design, and estimation, ensuring that proposed solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with client needs. This role blends technical acumen, business understanding, and stakeholder engagement, and offers the opportunity to work on high-impact, global projects within KDN.
Role Responsibilities
- Presales & RFP Support:
- Lead Salesforce solutioning for RFPs, proposals, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with business development teams to define winning strategies and value propositions.
- Prepare detailed solution architecture, effort estimation, and delivery approach for proposals.
- Solution Design:
- Analyze client requirements and design scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions.
- Recommend best-fit Salesforce products (e.g., Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, Industry Clouds) aligned with client needs.
- Define integration strategies with third-party systems and legacy platforms.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct workshops and discovery sessions with customers and member firms.
- Thought Leadership:
- Stay updated on Salesforce innovations and industry trends to bring cutting-edge solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to delivery teams during transition from presales to execution.
- Governance & Standards:
- Ensure proposed solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices, security standards, and KPMG guidelines.
- Contribute to reusable assets, estimation models, and solution accelerators.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce solution architecture, with a strong track record in presales and client engagement.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce Cloud offerings (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.) and architecture best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead RFP responses, solution design, and effort estimation for large-scale Salesforce projects.
- Experience in tailoring demos, presentations, and proposals to diverse client needs and industries.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to engage CxO, business, and IT audiences.
- Experience collaborating with pursuit teams, shaping deal strategy, and influencing client decisions.

Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (preferred); additional certifications in Industry Clouds or OmniStudio are a plus.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
