Our Sourcing and Procurement Advisory practice requires experienced Sourcing & Procurement professionals to drive transformational change across our client's procurement operations and technology environment. Candidates will form part of the business development and project delivery teams working across a wide portfolio of client sectors including Energy, Mining & Property, Defense Industries and Government.
The Opportunity
We are experiencing significant growth and are currently recruiting for Associate Directors, preferably in our Sydney and Melbourne offices, although other locations such as Brisbane and Perth will be considered. This role is ideal for an experienced consultant, strategic technology procurement practitioner, or sourcing professional. We are particularly looking for candidates with a proven track record in leading the functional design, selected configuration and full implementation of 'best of breed' procurement platforms such as Ivalua, Coupa, Zycus etc and / or ERP source-to-pay solutions such as SAP, Workday, Oracle etc. We are also expanding our AI in Procurement offerings and welcome candidates with relevant experience in formulating and deploying functional use cases. Role Responsibilities:
Business Relationships: Build and own key business relationships. Pursue business development and sales opportunities, including end-to-end bids for new consulting engagements.
Lifecycle Management: Lead and support all parts of the project lifecycle (strategy, design, implementation, monitor). Manage and deliver quality work on assigned technology-enabled procurement transformational change, or other procurement operating model or sourcing projects, taking responsibility for larger and higher risk projects
- Technical Leadership: Provide advanced technical knowledge, direction, and training to team members.
- Growth and Development: Actively participate in the growth of the Sourcing and Procurement Advisory team, including resource allocation, career development of staff, and other management decisions.
- Business Development: Focus on building networks, fostering internal collaboration, and contributing to business development efforts.
- Client Outcomes: Deliver quality business outcomes in complex and fluid environments.

Demonstrated experience in the functional design, selected configuration and full implementation of procurement technology solutions, procurement operating model maturity uplifts and complex sourcing processes.
Previous senior roles in consulting or procurement functional teams, with a strong commercial and delivery focus.
Good understanding of the trends in legacy, emerging and disruptive procurement technologies, particularly in regard to the application of Generative and Agentic AI.
- Practical experience delivering positive outcomes in roles such as senior procurement manager, strategic sourcing manager, contract manager, or commercial manager.
Established geographical network in location city, with experience in industries such as Energy & Utilities, Government, Defense, Education, Health, Mining & Metals, Financial Services, Telco, and Transport.
Excellent teamwork and well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An exceptional attitude focused on achieving desired customer outcomes.
Qualifications
- Appropriate qualifications including a degree in a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of industry methodologies such as ITIL, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PRINCE2 is desirable.
