Job Description

KPMG has been appointed as the learning services partner to The Skills Academy - an exciting and innovative approach to skills development for the WA public sector workforce. This one sector approach to learning will deliver a comprehensive suite of courses via a new intuitive and modern technology platform to more than 35,000 staff across 56 participating agencies.

Developed in partnership with more than 150 subject matter experts from across the WA public sector, 120 courses will be designed specifically for the WA public sector context. Courses will cover a wide range of skills and foundational knowledge required of a modern public sector workforce.

Your opportunity

The Reporting Analyst will be responsible for developing and delivering Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational oversight, performance tracking, and client reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a suite of interactive and automated dashboards to track program KPIs.
  • Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and Technology Lead to identify key data sources and define reporting logic.
  • Translate business and operational needs into accurate, actionable data visualisations.
  • Assist in establishing reporting cadence and structures for client governance and internal continuous improvement.
  • Conduct data quality checks and maintain consistency in reporting outputs throughout the program lifecycle.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience in Power BI, data modelling, and dashboard creation.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders to understand reporting needs and present data in user-friendly formats.
  • Experience producing reports aligned to service-level agreements and performance measures.
  • Background in managed services, learning environments, or government programs is preferred.
