Transformation Delivery Practice within KPMG delivers expert program management, project and change management services and have involved in some of Australia’s key transformation programs.

Our National Transformation Delivery Team is growing to meet an increasing demand from a wide range of industries, dedicated to working with our clients as they are facing an unprecedented rate of change presenting them with new challenges and great opportunity. We help organisations design, plan, lead, deliver and assure complex pieces of work. We also provide real-time and prospective trusted advice to our clients for the life of major programs/projects. This is an exciting and interesting service as we support major programs/projects across the nation in navigating the challenges associated with delivering complex transformation programs.

Your Opportunity:

We are seeking an Associate Director –Transformation Delivery & Change for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Perth, Australia. This role sits within our Transformation Delivery team and supports a large-scale managed service program for leading Western Australian clients. You will play a key role in establishing and leading project governance, delivery tracking, and stakeholder engagement across a complex program environment as well as the opportunity to run and support complex program of works. You will have the opportunity to work across different industries, with a preference towards Government and Energy and Utilities, on a range of complex client problems.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement enhanced operating models to embed clear accountability and ownership across the end-to-end organisation
• Leading small teams to deliver the planning and support the execution of projects and programs.
• Establish and maintain value-adding project, program and portfolio governance processes for our clients.
• Leading all aspects of a project and program, through the full program lifecycle, including establishing and managing key documents and processes.
• Setting up governance frameworks for transformational programs and Project Management Offices (PMOs) and with communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Developing strong client relations and driving business development opportunities.
• Establishing and managing key project and program management documents and processes.
• Driving project and program communication and stakeholder engagement.

Experience and skills:

• 5-10 years’ experience in leading complex program and project delivery, or project advisory services.
• Experience in a variety of market sectors would be highly regarded
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to analysis complex information and summarise and present in a succinct manner.
• Ability to engagement and manage stakeholders at senior levels
• Professional certification in methods such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK, Managing Successful Programmes or Management of Portfolios.
