Job Description
Role Purpose
As a Manager in our Cyber & Resilience team, you will play a key role in delivering resilience services to clients. You will work closely with KPMG and client stakeholders to assess, design, and implement strategies that enhance organisational resilience and compliance with better practice methodologies and standards.
We are currently hiring for this role in Brisbane or Melbourne only.
Role Responsibilities
Act as a central point for day-to-day coordination of client projects and opportunities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Conduct fieldwork and analysis across client projects, including:
Executing Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
Leading BCM, ITDR, Crisis Management assessments
Developing Business Resilience frameworks and artefacts
Designing and delivering resilience training and exercises
Assist clients in managing disruption risks to meet business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and compliance obligations.
Perform gap assessments covering Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Emergency Management, and Crisis Management against global and domestic standards (e.g., ISO 22301, ISO 27031, APRA CPS 230).
Develop benchmarking reports and provide insights to strengthen resilience capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions across technology, risk, and resilience needs.
Demonstrate creativity in the development of crisis and BCM exercise scenarios and facilitating these to support client training and engagement
Support business development activities, including proposals and client presentations.
Experience
Minimum 2+ years in a business resilience, BCM, crisis management, or related consulting roles.
Experience in operational risk, business continuity, crisis management, and/or resilience.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards such as ISO 22301, APRA CPS 230, and/or ISO 27031.
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Creativity for the development of crisis scenarios
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong stakeholder management capability.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within timelines.
Industry or professional services experience preferred.
Qualifications
Degree in Business, Information Systems, Law, Risk Management, Journalism or related field is advantageous.
Professional certifications (e.g., BCI accredited, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor) are advantageous.
Ability to work without restrictions in Australia
