KPMG’s Transformation Delivery and Change Practice delivers expert program management, project delivery and change management services across some of Australia’s most significant transformation programs. Our national team continues to grow in response to increasing client demand across a wide range of industries, helping organisations design, plan, lead and assure complex pieces of work.

We partner with clients facing unprecedented levels of change, providing real‑time advice and support throughout the lifecycle of major programs. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformation efforts across Government, Energy & Utilities and other key sectors.

Your Opportunity

As an Associate Director - Transformation Delivery & Change, you will play a pivotal role in leading governance, delivery and stakeholder engagement across complex program environments. This permanent Adelaide-based role supports a major managed services program for leading South Australian clients, while also offering exposure to large-scale transformational work across multiple industries.

You will:

  • Lead technology implementation and optimisation activities, ensuring alignment to client governance and reporting frameworks
  • Design and deploy digital delivery frameworks that support consistent planning, lifecycle gating and benefit tracking
  • Lead teams involved in project and program planning, risk management, budget oversight and quality delivery
  • Establish and maintain project, program and portfolio governance processes
  • Lead programs through the full lifecycle, setting up and managing key documents, structures and delivery processes
  • Establish governance frameworks for major transformational initiatives and PMOs
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and communication activities across complex environments
  • Build strong client relationships and support business development opportunities
  • Manage the creation and operation of project and program management documentation

Your Experience

You will demonstrate:

  • Proven ability to lead complex program or project delivery, including advisory or oversight work
  • Demonstrated capability establishing and leading PMOs or program governance frameworks for large, multi‑year transformation programs
  • Experience working across varied industry sectors (Government or Energy & Utilities advantageous)
  • Experience implementing or operating enterprise project delivery platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to synthesise and present complex information succinctly
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to build trust at senior levels
  • Professional certification in methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK, MSP or MoP
