Sydney, NSW, Australia
Posted on Mar 30, 2026

Job Description

In this role you’ll help shape how Tax & Legal goes to market—turning strategy into action across priority accounts, flagship events, Voice of Client and leadership forums. You’ll be the central coordinator who keeps stakeholders aligned, creates structure and momentum, and ensures client and market activity is executed with quality and consistency.

  • Drive coordinated execution of the client and market agenda—so the right initiatives land at the right time.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Partners, Marketing, BD and central Clients & Markets teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Build market presence through high-quality events, content and communications that strengthen relationships, client centricity and pipeline.

How are you Extraordinary?

  • Client-centric mindset: you’re curious about client needs and market signals, and you turn insights (including Voice of Client) into practical actions that strengthen relationships and growth.
  • Highly operational and organised: you bring structure, governance and momentum—managing plans, cadence, stakeholders and details so priorities land on time and to a high standard.
  • Event experienced: you’ve delivered end-to-end events and forums, from planning through to execution and follow-up, and you know what it takes to create a quality client experience.
  • Clear, confident communicator: you can simplify complex messages for different audiences, and you produce polished packs, updates and written communications that are ready for senior stakeholders.

At KPMG, we believe diversity of thought, background and experience strengthens relationships and delivers meaningful benefits to our people, our clients, and communities. To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:

  • Client-centric mindset with experience supporting client programs, account activity and relationship-led initiatives.
  • Strong operational discipline—able to turn strategy into structured plans, run governance/cadence, track actions and manage competing priorities.
  • Event experience delivering end-to-end events (e.g., forums, roundtables, executive dinners, webinars), including planning, logistics, stakeholder management and post-event follow-up.
  • Strong communications capability, including writing/editing updates and creating polished presentation packs, agendas and briefing materials for senior audiences.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes in a complex, matrix environment (professional services is desirable).
  • Confidence using CRM and workflow tools, with a strong focus on data quality and process (e.g., CRM updates, event invite protocols, approvals).
  • Understanding of relevant governance and compliance requirements (e.g., privacy obligations and internal approval processes) and sound judgement when managing risk.

Qualifications

Qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience) are highly desirable.
