Guided by KPMG’s Powered Enterprise methodology, we combine leading practices, strong change management, and tailored enablement to help organisations transition seamlessly and realise lasting value.
Within KPMG Consulting, the Salesforce Solution Architect capability plays a critical role in designing and delivering enterprise‑grade Salesforce solutions that help clients unlock the full potential of the Salesforce platform and drive meaningful business transformation.
Your Opportunity
As an Associate Director – Salesforce Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders and internal delivery teams to align technology architecture with strategic business objectives, enabling operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences.
This role offers the opportunity to lead complex, enterprise‑scale Salesforce programs while contributing to the growth of KPMG’s Salesforce capability through thought leadership, mentorship, and go‑to‑market initiatives. You will be empowered to bring an innovative mindset, influence outcomes at a senior level, and help clients navigate their digital transformation journeys.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead end‑to‑end solution architecture for Salesforce programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating business priorities into scalable and effective Salesforce solutions.
- Architect technically robust, secure, and scalable Salesforce solutions across the full delivery lifecycle—from ideation and design through to implementation and iteration.
- Define and govern architectural principles, development standards, and DevOps practices to support high‑quality, sustainable delivery.
- Develop technology roadmaps and phased implementation strategies tailored to diverse client environments.
- Collaborate closely with Delivery Leads, Architects, and subject matter experts to manage scope, timelines, dependencies, and delivery risks.
- Oversee integration architecture, data migration planning, and execution across complex enterprise landscapes.
- Ensure non‑functional requirements are met, including performance, scalability, security, maintainability, and compliance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem and provide strategic recommendations for adoption.
- Contribute to KPMG’s Salesforce and broader technology enablement thought leadership, mentoring team members and supporting capability growth.
Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Extensive experience in Salesforce solution architecture, with a strong background in enterprise‑scale implementations.
- A proven track record of leading complex Salesforce programs and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and industry‑specific solutions.
- Experience leading and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact technology outcomes.
- Exposure to DevOps, DataOps, integration patterns, data migration, and Salesforce testing frameworks.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business‑focused outcomes.
- A collaborative leadership style and a passion for solving complex business challenges through technology and innovation.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Salesforce certifications (such as Salesforce Architect or relevant domain certifications) are highly regarded.
- Salesforce certifications such as Certified Application Architect, System Architect, Platform App Builder, and Administrator.
