Your Opportunity
As an SAP S/4HANA Finance Manager, you will play a key leadership role within our SAP Capability team, leading a small team of SAP analysts and functional consultants to deliver high‑quality finance solutions for our clients.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of clients and industries, applying your deep SAP Finance expertise, including Joint Venture Accounting, to drive meaningful outcomes. You will combine hands‑on functional knowledge with strong stakeholder engagement and people leadership to support complex finance transformations in a dynamic consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Solution Design & Configuration: Leading the design, configuration and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost and Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Margin Analysis, Profitability Analysis, and Joint Venture Accounting (JVA).
- Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring and supporting a small team of SAP analysts and functional consultants, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and high‑performing team culture.
- Business Process Optimisation: Partnering with finance stakeholders to assess current‑state processes, identify gaps and implement SAP‑enabled best practices to improve efficiency, transparency and compliance.
- Integration Management: Ensuring effective integration between SAP FI/CO, Joint Venture Accounting, other SAP modules (such as MM, SD and PP) and external systems, with a strong focus on data integrity and end‑to‑end process alignment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a trusted advisor and liaison between business and technology teams, translating business requirements into clear functional and technical outcomes aligned to strategic objectives.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Providing expert‑level support across critical finance processes, including month‑end and year‑end close, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Training & Documentation: Developing and delivering user training, knowledge transfer and maintaining high‑quality documentation of configurations, processes and controls.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Staying up to date with SAP S/4HANA advancements and emerging capabilities, and proactively recommending enhancements to improve financial operations and reporting.
Experience
To be successful in this role, your experience may include:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering SAP Finance implementations in a consulting or client‑facing environment.
- Strong functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling, with experience across one or more of the following areas:
- Financial Accounting (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets)
- Group Reporting
- Management Accounting / Cost Controlling
- Margin Analysis
- Product Costing
- Joint Venture Accounting
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring team members and contributing to their development.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in a relevant discipline.
- Current SAP S/4HANA certification(s) in Finance, Controlling and/or related modules.
