Position And Team Overview

L.E.K.’s Asia Healthcare Practice advises some of the most prominent organisations across the region, including major multinationals with headquarters and/or significant operations in Asia. Our Partner team has extensive experience across the Healthcare / Life Sciences economy, including in LS / Biotech, MedTech and Healthcare Services.

This role is expected to be collaborating and effectively working on Asia Healthcare consulting projects across Shanghai, Tokyo and Singapore offices to help support them on key deliverables.

Overview Of Role

As an Associate Consultant, you will be responsible for your own broad work stream and will help to develop the hypothesis, structure the approach, and lead junior team members. You will continue to build your leadership skills and take on increasing responsibilities.

Key stakeholders

  • Reports to: Case Consultants
  • Direct reports: Case Associates

Specific Responsibilities

  • Performing rigorous analysis to pinpoint appropriate, practical recommendations for clients;
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members;
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of each client’s industry, competitors, and customers through various types of research and data collection;
  • Collaborating with team members to transform research and analysis into thoughtful
  • insights that deliver maximum impact for your clients;
  • Providing upward feedback to Consultant, Manager, Principal, and Partner on case
  • management and leadership.

Candidate Requirements

  • Candidates with 2 years of outstanding track record in consulting or relevant industry
  • Experience leading and coaching team members
  • University graduates with Bachelor’s / Master’s degree
  • Capable of critical thinking, enjoy problem solving, and possess strong curiosity for new knowledge
  • Efficient and good at time management
  • Integrity and team spirit
  • Fluent / bilingual in English and Chinese
