Description and Requirements

Sales Training Senior Specialist (EMEA based) responsibilities include communicating with leaders to interlock and understand their strategic priorities, to build and deliver successful trainings to support Lenovo’s goals and transformation to be a Solutions and Services led Organisation and a global technology powerhouse.

This will involve identifying training needs, mapping out development plans for both sales and management and the full deployment and coordination of all courses. It will include accountability for managing, designing, developing and coordinating training and development programs across all markets in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), covering key business segments – Enterprise & Public Sector, Mid-Market, Globals, Channel and Consumer Sales.

Ideally, our preferred candidate will have experience with various training methods, including consultative coaching, mentorship programs and e-learning. Strong experience with budgeting, accreditation and LMS platforms is favorable and excellent project management skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

Sales Curriculum trainings

  • Overall project management and smooth deployment of the Sales Excellence Curriculum
  • Manage overall EMEA Sales Excellence budget and ensure smooth collaboration with Partners
  • Conduct Geo-wide training needs assessment and identify skills/knowledge gaps
  • Build credible and integral relationships working closely with senior leadership, management, sales, HR and Business Groups
  • Design and develop sales training programs (outsourced and/or in-house) with appropriate training methods or activities
  • Effectively communicate and promote training to employees in order to drive targeted attendance
  • Remain ahead of new training methods and techniques
  • Drive and maintain the adoption, engagement and completion of the Accreditation process post training
  • Continuously assess effectiveness of sales training & determine the impact against employee skills & KPIs
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding design both internally and external resource
  • Management of Sales Excellence Portfolio and Careers Guide
  • Any other admin tasks required for the role


Requirements

  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong and proven project management experience
  • Proactively drive tasks to completion within deadlines given
  • Ability to think outside the box, pre-empt situations and look at the bigger picture
  • Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to driving new initiatives
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple events across EMEA
  • Understanding and experience of working in a Sales Environment
  • Experience maintaining training budgets
  • Self-starter, willingness to learn
  • Good knowledge of learning management systems, e-learning and web delivery tools
  • MS Office proficiency
  • BS degree in Education, Training, HR or related field
  • Fluent English
  • Experience of the Lenovo environment might be an advantage
