Description and Requirements

The Strategic Partner and Technology Development Lead will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships within the PC and Workstation space. This role requires a deep understanding of the computing industry landscape, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to align partner capabilities to our business objectives. We are looking for someone that has a proven track record of successful partnership development and strategic mindset.


Technical skills:

  • Previous experience in PC or Workstation development, with focus in EE, and solid understanding of other engineering disciplines for PC space (i.e. thermal, mechanical, system, UEFI, etc.)
  • Experience in key PC technologies such as HPD, AR/VR, and AI
  • Experience in key PC platform subsystems such as SoC, memory, storage, display, camera, battery, etc.
  • Ability to engage in deep technical conversations with partners and engineers to assist in failure analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Windows Operating systems. Experience with OS virtualization.
  • Demonstrated successful hardware design execution on a project with engineering team members located in multiple geographies.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in x86 or AMD architecture and hardware development.
  • 4+ years of strategic product development in the PC space.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills with ability to influence at all level of internal and external organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both a team environment and self-directed; passionate about learning new technologies and skills.
  • Business acumen to engage with various functional teams required to take projects from concept to production.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and managing key partnerships that drive business growth
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Agility to throttle between strategic mindset and urgent tactical needs of the business.
This position will be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC. Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. To be considered, candidates need to be local to Raleigh or willing to relocate on their own.
