Description and Requirements
Lenovo is looking for an early career recruiting professional to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role will handle a variety of recruiting initiatives as well as act as a client facing recruiter for assigned roles based in North America. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will act as the key focal point for Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners for recruiting ramp ups critical to Lenovo strategy. He/She will consult with the managers on all aspects of hiring from recruitment strategy, candidate selection, compensation recommendations and presenting/negotiating offers.
Key responsibilities for the Talent Acquisition Professional include:
• Recruit for skill sets/candidate profiles that are new to Lenovo and tied to our strategic initiatives and emerging technologies
• Requisition assignment and management of Worldwide Functions and Motorola recruitment activities.
• Lead and manage special projects -both for the North America Talent Acquisition organization and business directed.
• Create and negotiate offers with candidates that may include complex compensation, LTI, relocation or visa sponsorship issues
• Consult with HR Business Partners in other countries and provide necessary guidance on the North America hiring process
• Deal with hiring managers and teams across multiple countries/regions
• Participate on after hours conference calls to accommodate candidates, managers or TA peers in other countries as needed
• Interface with the HR Partners and business leaders on Workforce planning and headcount tracking
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources or related field
• Previous work experience or internship experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior recruiting/HR experience preferred
• Strong project management skills
• Solid analytical skills, ability to create reports and recruiting metrics
