Description and Requirements
You will be responsible for driving revenue and profit, and customer satisfaction for a Northeast territory, selling tailored use case solutions for Lenovo. You’ll collaborate with Lenovo Sellers, Channel Sellers, and End Users, providing the solution selling expertise to promote Lenovo’s Smart Collaboration portfolio and close new business. You will champion the innovative power of our solution offerings within the reseller channel, helping partners become more effective in selling our solutions. You’ll collaborate with our Smart Collaboration Business Unit, which develops our Collaboration / Video Conferencing solutions, to help identify requirements and ensure adequate training and support for your solution-selling efforts. Our solutions include integrated hardware, software, and services from Lenovo and third-party development partners. This role involves direct client interaction and requires industry experience, expertise in closing deals, driving adoption of new cloud technologies, and achieving significant growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Skilled in articulating the benefits of Collaboration Transformation / Modern Workspace and related solutions.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of Video Conferencing and associated AV solutions technology, including its practical application and how it meets customers' needs.
- Familiar with the collaboration / video conferencing ecosystem and competition in the market.
- Cultivating relationships with Lenovo sales teams. While you won’t own specific accounts in entirety, you will serve as a sales specialist and help support an account list.
- Managing full cycle sales process with Lenovo Sellers, Channel Sellers, and End Users.
- Building new relationships with decision-makers responsible for use case solution choices
- Collaborating with business partners / channel partners focused on solution selling, leveraging their expertise to secure new business.
Basic Job Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or 5 + years of successful experience in solution sales (hardware, software and services)
- Strong skills in building relationships and engaging confidently with executive-level customers
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Familiarity with Pro AV and/or Workplace Collaboration technology solutions or Cloud solutions
- Proven experience in closing new business and managing relationships within net new and existing accounts
- Demonstrated track record of high performance
- Experience in solution-selling and value-selling techniques
- Ability to travel up to 60%
