Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager with a passion for both: people management and IT sales.
As the manager of the team for a cluster of key accounts, the Enterprise Sales Manager (Germany North) is responsible for managing the total customer relationship, both directly and through his/her sales team. You and your team are aim to make our customer successful, by representing the full Lenovo portfolio (Datacenter, Service & Workplace).
- You work in conjunction with the One Lenovo Enterprise Sales Leader Germany and Austria and other Relationship Sales professionals (product and solution specialists) to plan and execute an executive relationship strategy.
- You will maintain a personal relationship with customer's senior management, have a clear vision of customer and LENOVO unit strategies and understands where LENOVO can impact, enhance and complement customers' businesses.
- You will leverage a deep understanding of the customers' organizations to identify key contacts throughout the organizations and direct the deployment of the rest of the team against particular buyer groups.
- As a people manager you will provide guidance and counsel to the managed team of Client Managers and Workplace Account Managers.
In addition to the above mentioned points, following are the primary roles/responsibilities of the Enterprise Sales Manager:
• You take over responsibility for all related planning processes such as account planning, business planning, bid strategie, demand planning, forecast planning
• You plans and facilitate and/or conducts complex negotiations with customers and various partners
• Full Profit and loss Responsibility of your aligned department
Your responsibilities as a people manager:
• Ensure employees understand how their work contributes to LENOVO's strategy, market success and your organization's goals
• Lead by example and sets clear performance standards, ensures a positive performance climate
• Encourage employees to be innovative, and support ideas that should be implemented
• Continuously develop the employees to build a strong team and effectively develop the organization to succeed in Lenovo’s future goals
Position Requirements
• 5+ years experience as a Sales Manager
• Proven sales track record demonstrates your ability to apply comprehensive understanding of sales processes and sales management techniques
• Demonstrate a professional knowledge of business acumen, including an understanding of the customers' business, industry, economic trends, issues and competition
• Effectively utilize channels
• Demonstrate effective coaching techniques providing feedback and seeking learning opportunities
• Clearly define problems, logically diagnoses causes, identifies solutions and creates actions plans
• Apply creativity in developing new approaches and solutions.
• Fluent in German and English language
Your location:
Preferably we are looking for candidates either located close to our office in Essen, where a part of the team is located well, or candidates living close to our customers in this territory for example Hamburg or Hannover.
