We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team to focus on Enterprise Backup solutions. The ideal candidate will have data protection/data security expertise and a proven track record of success in identifying and engaging client teams, qualifying and closing new business opportunities. They will also have the ability to create and deliver successful programs and campaigns on a global basis.
Responsibilities:
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
• Create, launch and manage sales campaigns
• Gather and analyze business requirements to identify and understand business needs and challenges
• Develop and document solution architecture plans that align with business objectives and technical requirements
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools to support the solution
• Develop and implement sales strategies
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
• Translate complex technical concepts into business terms
• Develop and maintain deep technical expertise
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in business development or solution architecture
• At least 2 years experience in Enterprise Backup/Data Protection/Data Security. Edge Computing, cloud computing, AI, data analytics
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven track record of success in identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
