■About Organization
The candidate will belong to NEC Personal Computers Ltd, Purchasing Division. He or she conducts overall sourcing and supply chain such as procurement strategy, purchase agreement, pricing negotiation, securing stable supply and supplier relationship, for components (CPU/Wireless/Storage/LCD/Memory/ICs and unit products purchased from ODM etc) which incorporate into NEC brand PC.
The candidate is required broad range of purchasing knowledge, strategic thoughts, negotiation / reconciliation ability among suppliers and internal related department (product planning, R&D, manufacturing, finance, supply/demand etc), and having deep insights of PC industry.
This individual will co-work with Lenovo Global procurement team.

■Roles and responsibilities
- Devise sourcing strategy of assigned key components(DRAM/SSD/Semiconductors/LDC/Battery etc) or platform to secure strong supply base and conduct pricing negotiation with suppliers.
- Capture Best In Class price condition co-working with Lenovo Global Procurement team.
- Devise and implement sourcing strategy for mid-term cost reduction / stable supply through organizing internal related department of Product Planning, R&D and Manufacturing team.
- Proposing R&D for alternative source aligning with Lenovo WW strategy.
- Lead supplier relationship management with key strategic suppliers and build strong / firm relationships from top management to working level to ensure competitive procurement position in the PC industry.
- Initiate activities for enhancing PC product competitiveness and cost reduction capability through deep understandings of suppliers’ technology roadmap and PC industry trend.
- Negotiation with suppliers to secure half year ~ one year supply allocation and to calculate estimated demand covering the said period.
- Conducting escalation issues to supplier, Global Procurement, Geo to obtain appropriate support.
- Analyze supplier financial status, demand/supply balance, pricing trend and industry trend covering half ~ one year through building relationship with research firms and 2nd tier suppliers.
- Support negotiation with suppliers to launch New Product Introduction co-working with R&D and manufacturing team.
- Manage / implement RMA process for failure parts.
- Collaborate with finance team to manage cost reduction amount accrued to account followed by compliance.
- Utilize SAP to manage quotation from suppliers.
- Business travel to Yonezawa factory and suppliers in overseas are required.

Must Have – essential Good to have - desirable
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in PC or Consumer Product industries. (Sourcing, Supplier Management, Relationship and SCM)
- Price negotiation experience with suppliers in English-speaking countries. - Multi-cultural communication experience in the field of overseas procurement stationed overseas.
- Excellent English skill for direct negotiation and communication with Lenovo Global members and overseas suppliers.
- Broad range of purchasing knowledge, strategic thoughts, negotiation ability.
- Logical communication capability.
- Well communication skill to manage and reconcile interests among related parties. - BA in inernational commerce, supply chain logistics or equivalent level of knowledge.
- Knowledge of PC、Computer Products.
