The eCommerce Analyst Intern core accountability is to ensure consumers have an outstanding user experience. To do this, he/she will be responsible for ensuring that the site is well developed/coded, supervising the end-to-end order management including pricing & promos, supervising inventory, consumer’s delivery process and supervising other sites from competitors. Critical to executing these tasks, he/she will need to look up for relevant information/data, interface closely with IT, and have a working knowledge of systems, processes, and high-level operations. Working to improve overall operations through analytics, reporting and performance tracking is critical.
Responsibilities:
• Participating in the development of UXUI experiences and web-based application enhancements and following the established build, code and branch management, and software process controls.
• Providing ad-hoc maintenance, support and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with business stakeholders, project manager, designer, QA, business users, and other engineers to achieve efficient and effective solutions.
• Working with Customer Engagement and Business Support teams to understand customer feedback and communicate remedy or solutions to fulfillment, service, and delivery issues.
• Participate and support new product launches (“war room” initiatives, initial daily sales tracking, troubleshooting, etc.)
Qualifications:
• Entry-level experience in a language such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Demonstrable coding skills
• Ability to read and review other developer’s code
• Skilled in the ability to clearly communicate in both written and oral forms
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar
• Strong proficiency to build in Tableau, Datastudio, and Google Analytics, including building dashboards
