JOB SUMMARY
The key responsibility of this role is expanding sales of Motorola products in the Japanese market, and to engage with the distributors, Retailers, mobile NW operators to maximize retail sales in Japan market. This role is also responsible of relationship building, business negotiations, product presentations, planning sales promotion, training for sales staff in distributors and retail shops. (Individual contributor role)

The role is responsible of understanding the business requirements of relevant players, communicating with relevant leaders within the partners, and ensuring the proposals are meeting the customers’ expectations. Extensive skills on account management, pre-sales, tender management, sales presentation, global communication (only internal) skill in English is essential.
The candidate is expected to develop and execute retail business in mobile industry and sales strategies by:
- Understanding the mobile phone business requirements in Japan and develop the strategy based on it.
- Build relationships with business partners.
- Work closely with the country GM, retail sales manager, MNO account manager, and global teams to deploy the plan.
- Presenting technology roadmaps to key accounts with the support from the global team.
- To increase sales of our products, training to retail staff to help them understand the features and advantages of our products.
Requirements (KNOWLEDGE / EXPERTISE)
- Experiences in mobile phone industry is essential. Experiences in mobile NW operators, or IT industry, especially in other smartphone OEMs, mobile device distributors and business background is strongly preferred. Presentation, training, sales and communication skills.
- Business English communication skill is a must. Experiences in working in global companies and start-up environment is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years Industry experience in retail sales or business development.
