Description and Requirements
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Global Channel Marketing Operations with a flair for driving efficiency, planning and process. Working as part of the International Sales Organization (ISO) the ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of B2B technology marketing and operating in a channel led business. You’ll possess a real passion for the channel, have relevant channel marketing and get excited about working with different geographies.
Central to this role is to manage the operations function of global channel marketing including the marketing planning review process, geo engagement and budget management, with the goal of creating efficiency and alignment amongst the channel marketing network. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills are a must for success and ideally experience of working in a complex matrix environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and measure overall channel marketing metrics including utilisation of channel marketing campaigns & digital platform performance.
- Track the channel marketing allocated budget and provide reporting as necessary on spend, including engagement with finance and procurement as needed to raise POs and engage on supplier contracts.
- Own alliance engagement within the team working closely with the Global Channel Alliances function including managing alliance funding sources, & proof of execution processes for Global Channel Marketing.
- Own and manage the development of project dashboard framework and updates to overall marketing plan.
- Own and manage the Global Channel event governance process.
- End-to-end process management, create new processes, systems and content to improve the efficiency, creativity and impact of channel marketing execution globally.
- Creation of executive summaries on key projects to aid stakeholder management
- Governance of Channel Marketing Projects Council & geo/BG BMS including management of meetings, process & documentation.
- Act as an ambassador for global channel marketing working collaboratively and building strong relationships across the Business Groups, Geo Marketing and Channel Teams.
- Drive consistency of message and efficiency of process to improve the overall channel execution globally.
- Work in partnership with the broader Global Channel Team to execute on the central global channel marketing plan.
- Manage 3rd party agency relationships to maximise performance and successfully achieve plan execution ensuring quarterly reviews are in place.
- Support the achievement of global channel goals with strategic project ownership within channel marketing as required.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years B2B channel marketing experience is essential in either a vendor, reseller or distributor in the IT sector.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing operations including project management, budget management & governance processes.
- 8+ years of experience working with alliances funding and proof of execution processes.
- Strong experience of working with alliances funding and proof of execution processes.
- Previous experience of working in a global marketing role working preferred.
- Excellent team player with experience of working in a globally dispersed matrix organisation.
- Strong attention to detail when managing multiple projects with great organisation & planning skills.
- Outstanding communications (both written & verbal) skills and fluency in English a must including stakeholder management skills a must.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to drive efficiency and process improvements.
