Description and Requirements
We're searching for a Technical Consultant (Personal Computing) to join our technincal team in Zurich or Geneva. You'll be at the forefront of driving solutions together with the Lenovo Tech community for our key commercial accounts in Switzerland. This isn't just about support; it's about shaping the future of enterprise client environments and developing creative resolutions to complex problems.
You will be responsible for:
Managing the technical support relationship from Lenovo towards our key large enterprise & public sector customers in Switzerland
You will work with Lenovo's technical support teams (Level 1-3) to troubleshoot and provide essential technical sales support and issue resolution for Lenovo's enterprise client device portfolio
You will support solution design and implementation of advanced client technologies, partnering closely with our customers
You will collaborate with our local sales teams to ensure a unified approach and will have a significant customer-facing time on-site (30-50%)
You must be able to deal with customer representatives at any level, and also with Sales, Services leadership, and technical communities at any level
You will be a trusted advisor for our customers
Position Requirements
Combination of strong technical and project management skills – Experience in technical consulting and excellent communication skills with a customer centric attitude
Experience in IT industry required (Minimum 5 years) with knowledge of business customers in PC industry preferred
Degree in Information Technology, System Engineering or similar subjects or equivalent work experience
PC architecture knowledge and in depth knowledge of current and former operating systems (Primarily Microsoft, preferred knowledge of Linux), Auopilot & Security
Experience with Microsoft Endpoint solutions (MECM and Intune including driver management/deployment & device management)
Knowledge of Scripting (Powershell) would be advantageous
You know how to connect with customers and have the ability to work at different levels and to manage customer situations and escalations
Excellent German and English written & presentation skills plus an ability to communicate in French is advantageous
Excellent presentation, communications and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft office programs and PC technologies - -Flexible, proactive & high customer orientation
Excellent organisation skills, must be a self-starter who has experience in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously in a demanding and changing environment. Ability to build effective virtual teams and drive results through others in a complex cross-functional organisation required
