Description and Requirements
Lenovo is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager for the SMB segment to develop a stable ecosystem in a set of 4 markets within EMEA. You will be responsible of the business management with the Lenovo 4P local organizations but also develop stable links and a proactive collaboration with the relative channel teams. Interfacing with Product Operations, Product Management and the Marketing team you will discuss the quarterly sales IN and OUT plans and support the successful SMB market execution strategy in the assigned territory. This makes you a crucial and visible team member across the board!
Position Description:
- Active participation to the regular BMS meeting/calls for commercial product on a given set of 3-4 of the EMEA Lenovo Markets
- Alliances/PCG funding management to ensure the correct SMB campaign support
- Plan the SMB business in collaboration with countries 4P teams (product/business management)
- Drive the execution of SMB campaigns, implement corrective actions, ensure business predictability and accuracy
- Work in relation with EMEA product management , demand planning, finance to ensure a strong end to end alignment from a planning and execution standpoint
- Develop strategy to grow short and long term and get agreement with Territories and Market leadership teams
- Support countries creating a sustainable quarterly business plan in line with Company targets considering the different aspects such as channel/product portfolio mix as well seasonal promotion activities / campaigns
- Optimize go to market, product positioning, product mix to drive market share gain and profitability
- Ensure execution of the plans in close collaboration with local Country management
- Working with demand planning and regional product managers to ensure hitting market share objectives, driving sales on available platforms and managing healthy channel inventory
- Manage product transition with regional teams and demand planning to optimize time to market, avoid obsolescence cost and minimize P&L impact
- Evaluate extra business opportunities/special deals and work grant support when/where needed out of available quarterly budget
- Collaboration with the existing Mid-Market teams for a comprehensive end to end SMB planning
- Operational review, consolidation of plans , proposal of business actions coordinated with regional and country 4P managers
Organization
You will report to the SMB BM Emea Director and will have close interlock with the 4P Markets Leaders, Channel Organisation, Market General Manager as well as GSC and Finance.
Position Requirements:
- 3+ years previous experience in International Sales/ Sales Management/Marketing in the IT industry
- Business management of PC commercial products
- Channel business acumen
- Strong relationship skills to ensure the right interaction level with the 4P regional teams and management
- Drive for results both on planning and execution
- Financial and market analytics acumen
