Lenovo is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager for the visual business to develop a stable ecosystem in Southeast Europe (SEE) region. We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a multi-country environment and is passionate about driving business growth and product excellence.
You will be responsible for developing the business with key retail, e-tail & commercial resellers but also develop market verticals. Interfacing Product Operations, Product Management and the Marketing team, you will prepare the sales plans and manage go-to-market strategy. This will make you a crucial and visible team member across the board!
Responsibilities:
- Identify key customer requirements and coordinate a smooth sell-in and sell-out planning, drive initiatives to maximize mix, margin, and overall product contribution to the portfolio and business.
- Build, implement, and execute country-specific product demand generation programs that align with quarterly and annual financial goals.
- Create sales accounts and retail/merchandising plans, which recommend sales actions to address new business opportunities.
- Prepare regular data analysis and comparison with the market and actual/ planned shipments.
- Share trends and new business opportunities with Product Management.
- Be responsible for product lifecycle management and strategic account relationship management.
- Develop a good understanding of the country’s P&L Organization. You will report to 4P director and will have close interlock with the Markets Sales Leaders, Business Unit General Manager, EMEA Sales Ops Manager as well as GSC and Finance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience with strong business acumen, exposure to high-volume sales and a proven track record of high-tech product sales management in the Commercial Market.
- Proven Product Marketing and Business Development experience with budget, P&L & market share responsibility.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, win new business, develop existing accounts, and execute effective trade marketing programs.
- Detailed insights into business analytics, metric driven and fact based.
- Good understanding of corporate customer buying behavior, a drive for results, strong interpersonal skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage through influence and negotiation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in business English.
