Work location: Akihabara UDX (Tokyo); (3 onsite and 2 remote days in a week could be applicable)
Smoking: Not allowed in the office, but smoking room is available in 5th floor of Akihabara UDX
Employment condition: Permanent Staff (Probation period: 6 months)
Expected salary: Depending on the current salary and experience, we would make our decision
Overtime allowance: Not applicable
Working hours: 9:00-17:45 (Rest time: 1 hour (12:00-13:00))
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, year-end holiday, established anniversary day, special holiday, and compensatory holiday

Position Description:
Business/ Planning:
- Drive initiatives to maximize mix, margin and overall product contribution to the portfolio & business
- Responsible for building, implementing, & executing Japan’s product demand generation programs, which align to quarterly & annual financial goals
- Evaluate performance against plan at appropriate interval s (e.g., daily, weekly) and instigate corrective actions to keep country on track to achieve LOB goals
- Provide relevant input to the annual & quarterly planning cycles by LOB key financials (Platform Mix, Units, AUR, AUM, Rev$, Margin$)
- Identify opportunity to partner with alliances to grow business
Product related:
- Effectively manage Product Transitions with a view to maximizing revenue & profit
- Ensure accurate forecasting for relevant products; co-owner (with Sales) for country’s forecast
- Effectively differentiates Lenovo offerings from competitive alternatives and creates distinct customer preference for Lenovo offerings. Knows when to bring elements of competitors' offerings or products into the equation to create the highest yielding deal for the customer and Lenovo
- Determine customer needs through participation in Sales & Customer meetings. Recommend and position appropriate product to customers
- Feedback competitive “price:spec” details to COE product/ pricing team to help arrive at appropriate positioning and product messaging
Position Requirements:
Technical:
- Strong understanding of product life cycle management
- Strong understanding of promotional programs for Japan Market Opening Information
- Good understanding of customer buying behavior
- Good understanding of PC and Notebook products and technology
- Maintains mastery of competition's offerings, strategies, and plans
Non-Technical:
- Strong drive for results
- Strong interpersonal skill & keen attention to details
- Ability to manage through influence, negotiation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese
