Description and Requirements



Reporting to the Global Strategic Partnership Director, you will play a crucial role in managing the effectiveness of our Channel Alliance Partner plans, demonstrating success to our Key Alliances and ensuring the seamless management of agreed budget spend.

Through each of our joint business plans, you will define the success criteria and KPI’s alongside the Global Business Manager and ensure the building, tracking and communication of progress of those metrics to the Alliance partner and key stakeholders within Lenovo.

You will be able to identify trends, opportunities and challenges through the rich data we access both internally and externally.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the quarterly reporting and management of funds to our Lenovo Finance team to ensure the smooth management of ISO Channel P&L.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Business Operations Manager, with knowledge of Data systems within Lenovo and Financial process.

We are looking for the person who challenges the ordinary and seeks to innovate in learning, while balancing execution. Building tight working relationships across our business is crucial to the success of this role.


Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Develop Partner Dashboards by Strategic Alliance Partner measuring agreed KPI’s.
  • Support the Global Account Manager in creating an effective measurement suite to support the effective ROI of the joint business plan.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Lenovo
  • Work across a matrixed organization to ensure maximum program participation, communication, and effectiveness of BMS.
  • Track success of key programs, making program suggestions, alterations and sharing best practice as needed.
  • Review market data in order to identify market opportunities
  • Support with strategic presentations and documents

What is required to be successful at this role:

  • 6-8 years previous experience in Business Operations or Category Management.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable working with Senior business leaders. Able to manage discussion with C Suite through to individual sellers.
  • Entrepreneurship and with a high degree of self-motivation and drive proficiency in Lenovo Data Systems, Excel, and other office applications
  • Strong Collaboration Skills and ability to work cross functionally.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and identify approaches & solutions to challenges.
  • Problem solver Strong practical skills.
