This position plays a critical role in optimizing the activities of Lenovo Japan’s Sales Division and driving visibility and efficiency across the overall business. Through data analysis, process improvement, and collaboration with global teams, the role supports enhanced execution of strategic initiatives. It requires close cross-functional collaboration with not only all corporate functions in Japan but also with relevant teams across the Asia-Pacific region, including sales planning, sales operations, and service teams. The position is also expected to lead large-scale internal projects such as the implementation of IT tools and the promotion of digital transformation (DX) within the company.
[1] Sales Data Integration & Reporting
• Develop and Oversee KPI tracking/reporting for Consumer and Commercial sales divisions
• Create presentations and visualization materials for management and sales members (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
[2] System Implementation & Data Infrastructure Development
• Support projects for implementing global systems in the Japanese market, in coordination with partners like NEC
• Promote automation and visualization in reporting processes; plan and execute innovation initiatives
• Strengthen KPI monitoring and operational management using the Business Management System (BMS)
• Collaborate with the APAC Reporting Team to build and optimize the reporting structure for Lenovo Japan
[3] Process Improvement & Sales Enablement
• Support and enhance sales operations from a Sales Enablement perspective (sales processes, tools, data usage, etc.)
• Maintain and improve sales materials used by domestic teams; provide data insights and advice for performance improvement
• Drive and manage various sales-related projects, identifying issues and proposing solutions
• Support planning and execution of company-wide initiatives aimed at improving Customer Experience (Cx)
[4] Global Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Partner with international Sales Operations teams to support business operations in Japan (primarily in English)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as sales planning, logistics, IT, and product planning for end-to-end process control
• Promote standardization of business processes within Japan and alignment with global standards
• Serve as a project manager for cross-functional initiatives when required
■Key Interaction with: This role will require a mix of communication with all function in Japan and in Asia Pacific as part of the core role, then combined with communication with other functions, such as Sales planning, Sales operations and Service team.Interaction would take place in both Japanese and English and would require good negotiation skill and capability to balance interest of different teams in order to find aligned goals.
