With over 95% of Lenovo’s B2B business moving through the Channel, the role of the Partner Account Manager at Lenovo is extremely important and critical to our success. The role of Lenovo Partner Account Manager is a senior position that requires excellent relationships at all levels both at Lenovo and with the partners including CEO level.
At Lenovo, our Partner Account Managers orchestrate and manage the involvement of the full Lenovo team to ensure that Lenovo is on top of mind with the business partner, that they are satisfied and fully updated on Lenovo strategy and technologies. The main purpose is to grow Lenovo business with the partners and deliver profitable growth for both Lenovo and our partners.
As Channel Sales Account Executive your primary function will be to increase the depth and relationships with Business Partners, successfully interlock with our sales teams and identifying opportunities by up-selling and cross-selling across the Top Seller products.
What tasks are waiting for you in this role?
- Managing weekly forecasting and opportunity tracking to provide realistic weekly shipments
- Strategic business planning for each account monthly with clearly defined ROI actions
- Creating strategic marketing plans for each account quarterly with clearly defined ROI actions
- Engaging with BP employees at all levels including senior management in order to completely understand their business drivers
- Driving the "One channel" strategy
- Consistent achievement of weekly and quarterly sales quota
- Ability to up-sell and cross-sell across the Top Seller products, options and services
- Proven ability to build relationships and to identify / work with Key Decision makers in BP’s
- Successful delivery of training and relative communications to assist pro-actively with mind-share increase
- Pro-active Business & marketing planning
What do we expect from you?
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years proven external IT industry sales experience on Commercial DTs, NBs, WS and Tablets business
- You know how to position HCI / SDI solutions and you have a broad know how over Server, Storage and network technology
- Experience in Cloud and Software Sales would be a great plus.
- Energetic, sales driven attitude and a "must win" attitude with great presentation and communication skills
- Proven face to face sales track record and commercial understanding of BP’s
- Existing Networking/relationship within main French Business Partners
- Experience of standard CRM and office application usage
