Lenovo is seeking a dynamic and results-driven NVIDIA AI Technical Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong technical pre-sales orientation to join our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) AI team . In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and executing the business development activities for our NA AI program focused on NVIDIA AI technologies .This role is responsible for driving new business opportunities by engaging with prospective customers, understanding their AI needs, and architecting NVIDIA-based solutions. You will act as the primary technical advisor during the sales process, demonstrating the value of Lenovo ISG’s AI portfolio and NVIDIA AI technologies (NAIE, GPUs, solution stacks), guiding customers through evaluation and selection of optimal AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales teams to identify and qualify AI opportunities in target accounts.
- Drive pipeline growth by identifying, vetting, and developing new leads within target accounts.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business challenges, technical requirements, and existing infrastructure.
- Architect and recommend NVIDIA-based AI solutions tailored to customer needs, including hardware, software, and deployment models.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals to prospective customers.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer objectives.
- Guide customers through the technology evaluation process, including PoC planning, documenting and communicate PoC outcomes to support business decisions.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and NVIDIA ecosystem collaborators.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform go-to-market strategies and value propositions.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and technical forums.
- Provide technical training, support, and resources to Lenovo sellers and channel partners to enhance their ability to sell and implement Lenovo’s Nvidia-based AI solutions
- Work within a cross functional team to identify, qualify and drive opportunities for sales of Lenovo AI systems, software, solutions, and services
- Provide market and customer feedback to internal product, marketing, and sales teams to influence product and solution roadmaps, optimize offerings and shape AI strategy.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or business development, ideally with a focus on NVIDIA technologies or GPU-accelerated computing.
- 5+ years of experience with NVIDIA AI platforms (NAIE, GPUs), frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, RAPIDS, etc.), and deployment models (on-prem, cloud, hybrid).
- 3+ years of experience experience designing and presenting AI solutions in a pre-sales or technical consulting capacity.
- 5+ years of experience with AI/ML lifecycle, data pipelines, and infrastructure requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with NVIDIA AI Enterprise Suite, CUDA, and GPU-accelerated data science.
- Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Previous experience in customer-facing technical pre-sales roles (solution architect, sales engineer, technical consultant).
- Industry certifications in AI/ML or cloud technologies are a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Ability to travel as needed (30-40% expected – US and Canada)
