About the Position

Our innovation within its Technology and Services Group (TSG), previously known as TSD (Technology and Services Division) is growing its presence at our second global HQ site in Morrisville, NC. We’re looking for a Public Cloud Engineer with proficiency with AWS, Azure and GCP public cloud infrastructure professional with proficiency across all major cloud platforms. This position is hybrid at our Morrisville site 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for CI/CD and cloud infrastructure management, including deployment to AWS, Azure and GCP public clouds.
• Support outages as part of a 24/7 incident management rotation.
• Diagnose, communicate and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues across AWS, Azure and GCP platforms and teams.
• Deliver detailed and timely documentation ensuring communication occurs on global teams.
• Ensure patches and solutions are updated and resolved.
• Ensure cross-functional support is delivered.
• Support CI/CD for training pipelines including data processing, distributed training, checkpointing, and deployment.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for AWS.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience handling CloudOps in AWS, Azure and GCP.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of CloudOps Experience across AWS, Azure and GCP platforms.
• Experience implementing and providing recommendations regarding containerization and cloud security.
• Hands-on Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting 24/7 Cloud Operations, including Outage support.
• Experience providing detailed documentation to ensure design and business process documentation are in alignment.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Outstanding stakeholder, partner, and vendor management skills.
• Cultural Competency working across Chinese, American, Desi, European, and South American cultural contexts, ensuring messages are communicated with clarity and tact.
• Experience managing and communicating expectations across different levels (i.e., Executives).
• Ability to script with Shell, SQL, OOP-Languages/frameworks (Pytorch, Python, Tensorflow).
• Bilingual skillset in Mandarin and English preferred.
• Experience implementing automations utilizing AI a plus.
• Knowledge of model compression, AI safety, and data governance.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications a plus.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $84-110k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. This position is hybrid 3 days per week at our Morrisville, NC location.
