What You'll Do

A Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Test Development Engineer is responsible for the definition, development and management of test code and utilities that are incorporated into the manufacturing test process for Hyperscale servers(L10) and rack(L11) products manufactured by Lenovo. Job duties include designing, writing, validating, and maintaining processes and code for automating the manufacturing test process. In this role you will be responsible for integrating these solutions into our test platform application and deploying solutions into production as well as global onsite execution and support. In addition, the expectation is that you will define test strategies for these products to ensure maximum commonality and optimal performance on the manufacturing line.

As a CSP Test Development Engineer you will work with Hardware and Software Development Engineers and Customers to understand any unique test requirements and customize solutions as needed to meet customer expectations. Tactically you must be ready to react to any production issues as they arise and support worldwide manufacturing operations. Strategically, the expectation is that the successful candidate will be constantly looking for ways to optimize and improve the overall process for manufacturing efficiency and throughput.

Lenovo has manufacturing facilities in China, Hungary, Mexico and Brazil and the expectation is that travel to some of these sites would be required as part of this role.
