Sr. Account Executive (BEST BUY) - Minnesota/Minneapolis
The Sr. Account Executive (BEST BUY) will be responsible for driving revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction for Lenovo’s largest and most strategic retail accounts. This individual will be managing and maintaining account relationships through senior level engagements for Lenovo’s Desktop, Gaming, AIO, Visuals, Accessories consumer product portfolio. They will also develop strategies for driving market share, profit and point of sale execution, as well as communicate and understand the critical success factors needed for our customers. The Senior Retail Sales Manager will also be engaged with extended teams in responding to our annual product lock cycles, product transition plans, and resource planning.
The position will be home based Minnesota/Minneapolis with up to 50% travel.
Position Responsibilities:
- Proactive product and services selling across multiple verticals while delivering on aggressive sales targets
- Review and analyze market opportunities while evaluating competitive and technology requirements needed to capitalize on opportunities. Understand current and future industry needs to maximize our annual product lock cycles
- Utilize a structured and repeatable business process to enable an accurate pipeline management and execution
- Collaborate across Lenovo’s fast paced and highly matrixed organization
- Engage senior decision makers (including C level executives), RSA (retail sales associates) influencers and ecosystem partners to advance sales targets
- Indirectly manage other sales and support professionals to push Lenovo
Requirements:
- 7+ years proven track record in strategic selling to Large Retail accounts in a high-tech industry required
- Possesses C-Level Executive relationship within the industry and the Retail account
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate our value proposition to our customers
- Ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements
- MBA preferred
