Description and Requirements

Job responsibilities

1. Curate ecosystem of Suppliers by helping select Partners

· Identify potential partners and technology solutions through extensive market research, focusing on innovations that boost efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

. Prepare and pre-qualify partner nominations and vetting requests.

· Maintain and assess coverage and skills required by business and shape vendor ecosystem accordingly.

2. Lead contract negotiations and manage IT hardware, software, and professional services procurement, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructures.

3. Evaluating supplier performance and managing relationship to ensure quality, on time delivery and cost efficiency.

4. Oversee the procurement process from vendor evaluation to onboarding, ensuring compliance with Lenovo’s standards.

5. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to implement integrated solutions that fulfill business goals and financial criteria.

6. Coordination with internal departments to ensure the smooth flow of procurement process.

7. Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to streamline operations.

8. Stay informed of industry developments, with a particular focus on hyperscale data centers, digital workspace solutions, AI, and generative AI technologies.

Job Requirements:

  1. Experience in supplier curation, market research, and partner nomination and vetting processes.

  2. Proven ability in leading contract negotiations and managing procurement of IT products and professional services.

  3. Strong skills in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining effective vendor relationships.

  4. Knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, onboarding, and compliance management.

  5. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal teams and external partners to achieve business and financial goals.

  6. Proficiency in developing and refining procurement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

  7. Understanding of current industry trends, particularly in hyperscale data centers, digital workspace solutions, AI, and generative AI technologies.
