We are looking for a Jr. HR Specialist to support our site in Bucharest. In this role, you will be responsible to support our Human Resources department of the Lenovo Bucharest Site. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and you will execute administrative activities related to pre-employment, payroll, on-boarding/off-boarding and other tasks related to HR policies and procedures while conforming to labor laws. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

In this role, you will report to the Sr. HR Manager of Software and Solutions Organization, receiving guidance as well from the Country HR Partner. The contract will be for a limited period, covering a maternity backfill.
Responsibilities
- Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts, certificates or termination related papers
- Organize and maintain personnel records and files
- Organize periodical occupational health checks
- Prepare monthly reports for benefits vendors for invoicing purposes
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days, work schedules, meal vouchers)
- Management of contractors’ timesheet and any other requests related to them
- Answer employees’ queries about HR-related issues
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. headcount reports, turnover rates)
- Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proven work experience as an HR Admin / HR Specialist / HR Generalist
- Knowledge of labor legislation and understanding of payroll process
- Solid understanding of MS Office
- Good English skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
