Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake the role of cost manager in the IOD project team, proactively identify cost optimization opportunities across all project phases (Concept, Plan, Development, Launch, Lifecycle), drive continuous cost reduction, and ensure cost competitiveness of products. This includes managing new product costs such as conducting BMC cost assessment, setting cost targets for Base Unit and Key parts, and ensuring the achievement of final cost targets; overseeing product lifecycle PCR management and cost control; providing support and management for Mega deals; and tracking NRE-related matters, managing liability risks, and formulating mitigation plans.
  1. Conduct product cost data analysis and ensure data accuracy in the system. This involves communicating with relevant functional departments on cost information and analysis results; implementing product cost competitive analysis covering the entire process from cost target setting to product teardown; tracking industry cost trends and sharing insights with key stakeholders; performing data analysis on product/part costs to enhance product cost competitiveness; timely maintaining, publishing, and updating product cost information in the system with high accuracy, and managing C2C cost changes; and checking and promoting cross-functional system data accuracy to ensure cost accuracy, as well as solving, sorting out, and tracking BOM/System issues.
  1. Participate in the building and optimization of cost-related processes and systems to ensure their smooth operation and effectiveness in supporting cost management work.
  1. Maintain an open mindset to embrace changes, take a proactive approach to work, apply logical analysis and thinking, bravely express opinions and think innovatively (out of the box), and demonstrate the ability to drive problem-solving in cost management and related work.
Job Requirements:
  1. Hold a Bachelor's degree or above, with majors in Finance, Accounting, or related fields being preferred.
  1. Possess experience in cost management for electronic products (e.g., laptops, desktops, mobile phones, tablets, handheld game consoles), which is preferred.
  1. Be familiar with electronic components and industry development trends to better support cost analysis and optimization work.
  1. Have excellent communication skills, and be able to use English at a working level in both oral and written forms to facilitate cross-departmental and potential international collaboration.
  1. Be proficient in using Excel and skilled in preparing PPT presentations to support cost data analysis and report sharing.
  1. Master data analysis skills, and be proficient in using tools such as Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visual presentation to effectively convey cost-related insights.
