Description and Requirements

Position Summary:
The Strategic Operations will serve as a key strategic role to the VP of Procurement, providing analytical, operational, and executive support across the PC and Smart Devices business group.
This role bridges strategy and execution, driving alignment across procurement verticals through data-driven insights analysis, ensuring operational governance and transformation initiatives Project Management such as localization, resilience, and sustainability.
The ideal candidate combines strong procurement acumen, business foresight, and executive communication skills, with the ability to operate cross-functionally in a fast-paced and global environment.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Strategic & Executive Support
(1) Support executive decision-making through scenario analysis, business modeling, and KPI tracking, to define and track strategic priorities
(2) Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and strategic presentations for leadership and global business reviews.
(3) Deliver actionable insights through data analytics, scenario planning, and performance tracking
(4) Any other possible business initiatives support for PCSD Procurement leadership team
2. Operational Excellence
(1) Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, supplier collaboration, and cost-to-serve optimization.
(2) Coordinate strategic projects such as supplier Globalization and localization, digital procurement transformation, and risk mitigation etc.
(3) Establish operational frameworks and business rhythms (Procurement Councils etc.), ensure alignment between Procurement, Supply Chain, and Category Management teams on cost, quality, and delivery goals.
(4) Support procurement process improvement and compliance with global standards.
3. Program Management & Governance
(1) Manage strategic programs such as localization, resilience, sustainability, or digital transformation within the procurement organization
(2) Drive consistent process adoption and compliance with procurement policies and internal controls
(3) Manage procurement PMO frameworks—setting milestones, dependencies, tracking outcomes, ensuring accountability and performance outcomes
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
(1) Interface with Finance, Operations, and Business Units to ensure alignment of procurement goals with corporate strategies.
(2) Partner with Sourcing and Product Directors and Managers to identify procurement opportunities, align business targets and ensure executions
(3) Support supplier engagement programs, including supplier summits, performance reviews and other related tasks.
(4) Champion knowledge sharing, best practices, and cross-regional coordination.
Job Requirements:
1. Education & Experience
(1) Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
(2) Minimum 8-10 years + of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Operations, preferably within PC, Consumer
Electronics, or Smart Devices industries.
(3) Proven success in managing global stakeholders, driving strategic initiatives and supporting executive leadership team
2. Skills & Competencies
(1) Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain and procurement processes, supplier management, and Project Management.
(2) Excellent logical thinking, analytical and executive presentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization tools etc.).,
(3) Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
(4) Business acumen with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to translate strategy into execution.
(5) Comfortable handling ambiguity and managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
(6) Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global environment
(7) Preferred Attributes: Experience in cost analytics, localization strategy, and ESG/sustainability programs is a plus.
