Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities

Private Cloud Business Development

  • Drive private cloud pipeline and deal closure
  • Identify and shape opportunities in enterprise and regulated industries
  • Engage CIO/CTO stakeholders to position Lenovo as a strategic private cloud partner
  • Define deal strategy, value proposition, and win themes

Private Cloud Solution Architecture

  • Lead design of enterprise-grade private cloud platforms
  • Support multi-form compute delivery: virtual machines, containers, and bare metal
  • Ensure architectures meet high-performance and high-stability requirements, especially for AI and mission-critical workloads
  • Design across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and security
  • Translate requirements into architecture, roadmap, and solution proposals

AI-Ready Infrastructure (Private Cloud First)

  • Enable private cloud platforms to support AI training and inference workloads
  • Design for GPU integration, scheduling, and resource optimization
  • Ensure infrastructure delivers predictable performance and efficient utilization

Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Integration (Secondary Focus)

  • Extend private cloud into hybrid environments when required
  • Enable consistent experience across private and public cloud usage
  • Support workload portability, governance, and cost visibility

Pre-Sales & Deal Execution

  • Lead technical discovery and client workshops
  • Develop proposals, SOWs, architecture diagrams, and executive presentations
  • Support pricing, solution positioning, and competitive differentiation
  • Ensure smooth handover to delivery with clear scope and validated design

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work with product teams to refine private cloud roadmap and capabilities
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation
  • Build reusable solution patterns and best practices to scale

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years experience in private cloud, data center, or infrastructure architecture
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, etc.)
    • Container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)
    • Bare metal provisioning and infrastructure management
  • Deep understanding of high-availability, performance optimization, and enterprise-grade stability
  • Experience supporting AI/HPC workloads or GPU-based infrastructure is a strong plus
  • Proven experience in pre-sales, solutioning, and deal shaping
  • Ability to articulate business value (performance, resilience, cost efficiency)
  • Experience working across APAC markets or global clients preferred
  • Strong communication skills with executive presence
Job Requirements
  1. Have 5+ years of experience in private cloud, data center, or infrastructure architecture.
  2. Possess strong expertise in virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, etc.), container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.), and bare metal provisioning and infrastructure management.
  3. Have a deep understanding of high-availability, performance optimization, and enterprise-grade stability.
  4. Have proven experience in pre-sales, solutioning, and deal shaping.
  5. Be able to articulate business value (performance, resilience, cost efficiency) clearly.
  6. Experience supporting AI/HPC workloads or GPU-based infrastructure is a strong plus.
  7. Experience working across APAC markets or global clients is preferred.
  8. Have strong communication skills with executive presence.
