Description and Requirements


Lenovo is seeking a Server Hardware Test Engineer (Campus Hire) to support server system validation and gain exposure to hardware and firmware testing across new platforms and features. This role is ideal for fresh graduates interested in building a career in server hardware validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support server system integrated testing, including Function, RAS, Stress, OS, 4‑corner, margin, and Storage/Memory/CPU/PCIe tests
  • Execute validation for Intel/AMD platforms in an in‑house lab, analyze results, and assist with issue identification
  • Learn to review design specifications and help develop test cases and SOPs
  • Assist in test plan writing and validation execution
  • Use in‑house/industry test tools and support basic test automation
  • Participate in defect analysis and failure investigations
  • Learn to operate lab and testing equipment, including environmental chambers

Requirements

  • Recent graduate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • Basic understanding of computer architecture; Windows/Linux exposure preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, good communication, and a willingness to learn
