Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities

- Design visually compelling and functional interfaces across wearable devices and companion apps.

- Develop and maintain scalable design systems, including components, typography, color, and motion.

- Create UI specifications that translate interaction concepts into production-ready assets.

- Collaborate with UX designers and engineers to ensure cohesive and feasible implementations.

- Explore non-traditional UI patterns such as ambient feedback, light signals, and sound cues.

- Ensure visual consistency across devices within the broader Motorola and Lenovo ecosystem.

- Contribute to prototyping efforts to validate visual and interactive concepts.

Job Requirements

- 3+ years of UI or product design experience.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design, UI systems, and attention to detail.

- Expertise in Figma or similar tools, including component libraries and design systems.

- Understanding of motion design and micro-interactions.

- Familiarity with platform guidelines (Android, WearOS) and responsive design.

- Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Chicago and China-based studios and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong visual storyteller with an eye for detail and polish.

- Interest in emerging interfaces beyond traditional screens.

- Passion for crafting expressive, emotionally resonant experiences.
