The Executive Director, WW Digital Platform is a senior executive responsible for the end-to-end digital and platform foundation of our Global eCommerce business.
This role integrates:
• Customer Experience (UX)
• eCommerce IT platform & architecture
• AI capabilities & digital intelligence strategy
The WW Digital Platform leader ensures that our digital infrastructure, experience design, and AI investments operate as a unified growth engine; enabling scalable revenue, operational efficiency, and differentiated customer experience. The WW Digital Platform organization ensures that our platform, customer experience, AI capabilities, and digital engine operate as a unified growth system aligned to commercial outcomes. This role brings together UX, platform, data, and automation to accelerate innovation and reduce friction across the customer journey.
This is a global business leadership role with deep digital fluency, not a pure technology operations role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Experience Leadership (UX)
• Define and own the global digital experience strategy
• Drive measurable improvements in conversion, usability, and customer satisfaction
• Ensure consistency and scalability across consumer, SMB, and B2B experiences
• Balance brand, performance, and commercial outcomes
2. eCommerce Global Platform & Technology Strategy
• Own the reliability, scalability, and modernization of the eCommerce platform
• Own the strategy and efficacy of essential capabilities, including internal search, payments, and platform product management.
• Establish architectural standards and long-term platform roadmap
• Align technology investments with commercial growth priorities
• Improve time-to-market for digital capabilities
3. AI & Digital Intelligence Strategy
• Define enterprise AI strategy for eCommerce
• Integrate personalization, automation, and data-driven decision systems
• Prevent fragmentation of AI initiatives across teams
• Ensure measurable ROI on AI investments
4. Cross-Functional Global Integration
• Partner closely with geographic eCommerce Sales General Managers on commercial priorities
• Partner with Finance on digital investment governance
• Partner with HR on digital capability and talent strategy
• Serve as executive owner of platform innovation and modernization initiatives
Success Metrics:
• Conversion rate improvement
• Platform reliability and performance metrics
• AI adoption and revenue impact
• Digital feature velocity
• Cost efficiency of platform investments
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Operations, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• 15+ years in digital, eCommerce, or platform leadership
• Proven executive-level ownership of digital platforms
• Experience scaling complex, global digital ecosystems
