This is a senior, permanent Sales Account Manager role responsible for driving the growth of the Motorola smartphone business across Southeast Europe, with a primary focus on Bulgaria and North Macedonia. The role is based in Sofia and covers Telco, Retail, and B2B channels, working closely with local and EMEA stakeholders. It is a customer‑facing position with a hybrid working model and regular local travel, mainly within the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive the development and execution of the Motorola sales strategy across Telco, Retail, and B2B partners in the assigned markets
• Identify, prioritize, and develop growth opportunities by defining the most effective routes to market
• Acquire, manage, and grow strategic partner relationships to support long‑term business expansion
• Build and execute joint business plans and commercial programs to achieve revenue and volume targets
• Develop action plans with key partners and internal stakeholders to increase market share and share of wallet
• Maintain strong collaboration with local country teams and regional management to ensure alignment and execution
• Monitor competitive landscape, market dynamics, and product trends to inform strategic decisions
• Partner closely with Marketing to ensure the right marketing mix, campaigns, and launch execution at regional level
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or business development within the mobile or consumer electronics industry
• Proven experience managing Telco and/or Retail partners and selling high‑volume products
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute structured business development and account plans
• Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills with a results‑driven mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
• Fluent Bulgarian and business English is mandatory
• Proactive, self‑driven, and customer‑focused approach with the ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced environment
