Cost Analyst / Cost Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Analyst / Cost Manager to support financial planning, cost control, and performance analysis across projects and operations. This role will partner cross-functionally to ensure budget adherence, deliver actionable financial insights, and drive cost optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop, manage, and maintain project and operational budgets. Drive accurate forecasting to support business planning and financial performance.Cost Monitoring & Variance Analysis:
Track actual expenditures against budget forecasts, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain financial discipline.Financial Reporting:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports, including cash flow forecasts, variance reports, and KPI dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.Cost Optimization:
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve efficiency and maximize ROI across operations and projects.Invoice & Vendor Management:
Reconcile purchase orders, contracts, and vendor invoices to ensure accurate financial recording and compliance with company policies.Change Control:
Manage budget changes, assess financial impacts, and maintain proper documentation and governance throughout project lifecycles.Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with business leaders, finance teams, and vendors to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related exprience
- 3+ years of experience in cost analysis, financial planning, or project accounting
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale projects or operational cost management
- Strong financial modeling and data visualization skills
- Familiarity with KPI reporting and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with contract and vendor financial management
- Knowledge of cost control processes and change management frameworks
