Description and Requirements

As a Senior FP&A Cost Analyst, you will lead end-to-end cost management across new product introductions and the existing portfolio, setting strategic cost targets that align with global business objectives. You will serve as the central link between finance, engineering, procurement, and operations — turning data into decisions that protect and grow business profitability.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — ODT, TEC, R&D, Procurement, Marketing, and Global Operations — to drive cost optimization initiatives and ensure achievement of long-term cost reduction goals.
  • Develop and enhance cost management systems and processes; establish standardized cost analysis models and lead process improvement projects to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct in-depth cost structure analysis, commodity price trend forecasting, and competitive cost benchmarking; deliver strategic insights and recommendations to global executive teams.
  • Oversee cost tape preparation and validation for new product launches; ensure compliance with global launch schedules and mitigate cost-related risks throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor global commodity markets and industry cost trends; proactively identify potential fluctuations and risks, and develop contingency plans to protect business profitability.
  • Represent cost management in global cross-functional initiatives; drive alignment on cost priorities and ensure cost considerations are embedded in product development and business planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in cost management, project management, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years of experience in the storage industry or ODM/OEM manufacturing, preferably in a global technology company.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional cost optimization projects and achieving significant cost savings (with measurable results).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint), and expert-level skills in Power BI (data modeling, visualization, and dashboard development).
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, and reading), with excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.

Base gross monthly salary starts from 2.650 EUR. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience! In addition, there is also variable part (a bonus) in value of 12% of your annual earnings.

What Lenovo Can Offer You:

  • Opportunities for career advancement and personal development
  • Access to a diverse range of training programs
  • Performance-based rewards that celebrate your achievements
  • Flexibility with a hybrid work model (3:2)
