Lenovo is looking for a highly motivated summer intern to join the team in the United States from May through July 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with strong extracurricular achievements, excellent communication skills, strong organizational ability, and ideally prior exposure to event management, PR, communications at multinational companies
The intern will support a fast-paced team across corporate access, event planning, and communications. A major focus of the role will be helping the team prepare for Lenovo Investor Day in late June 2026, which is expected to host approximately 100 investors. The successful candidate will assist in building connections across teams, coordinating event logistics, preparing communication materials, and supporting on-site execution in New York City leading up to the event.
The ideal candidate is polished, organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a high-pressure, detail-sensitive environment. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys relationship-building, can communicate confidently with senior stakeholders, has strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and brings prior event coordination experience or clear potential to succeed in investor-facing settings
Responsibilities
- Support the Investor Relations team in day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution across investor-facing activities.
- Help build and maintain connections across internal teams, senior stakeholders, external vendors, and investor participants.
- Assist with planning and execution for Lenovo Investor Day in late June, 2026, including attendee coordination for approximately 100 investors, event materials, itineraries, signage, and on-site support.
- Be present in New York City for the three days leading up to the June event and provide face-to-face support during event setup and delivery.
- Draft, edit, and proofread briefing notes, presentations, investor communications, key messages, and related materials.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue support, catering, rooming, meeting schedules, RSVP tracking, guest lists, and reconciliations.
- Support strategic projects and communication workflows in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including investor relations, communications, leadership offices, and event partners.
- Track details accurately across calendars, documents, and event workstreams while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and discretion.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong extracurricular track record, such as leadership roles in student organizations, conferences, societies, entrepreneurship, or other high-commitment activities.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and professionalism to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and external guests.
- Proven ability to multi-task under pressure, prioritize effectively, and manage shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior internship, project, or extracurricular experience in multinational corporate events, communications, PR, strategy, investor relations, or executive support is strongly preferred.
- Professional, proactive, and relationship-oriented, with the maturity to represent the team well in face-to-face settings.
- Available full-time from May through July 2026 (Remote or in Corp Office) and able to work in person in New York City during the last week of June event.

Compensation: Interns are paid on an hourly rate. The range for this position is from $26-$35hr depending on years of degree completion from Freshman in Bachelors through Masters Degree.
