Description and Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in analytics
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst with strong technology acumen
  • Advanced SQL skills and Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Medium proficiency in applied statistics with advanced knowledge in at least one of these tools – R, Python & SAS
  • Experience in working on CRM platforms such as SFDC/MS Dynamics will be an added advantage
  • Exposure to External databases like IDC, Gartner, etc. preferred
  • Exposure to development of reports on PowerBI or Qlikview.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the business leaders, project sponsors and analytics teams to understand the data requirements
  • Drive data based decisions through analytics, reporting and implementation of dashboards
  • Research and apply multidisciplinary techniques, findings and approaches to solutions driving the business’ understanding of its market, its internal operations, and its opportunities
  • Review, implement and analyze algorithms that will substantially improve analytics capability of the business
  • Assist in development and testing of analytics proofs-of-concepts and Data Quality Checks
  • Ensure delivery excellence in terms of timelines and accuracy
