The Senior Sales Operations Manager is a permanent leadership role responsible for driving commercial execution excellence across Lenovo Italy. Acting as a trusted business partner to Sales Leadership, this role owns sales planning, forecasting, performance management, incentives, and analytics, ensuring strong alignment with Finance, EMEA Sales Operations, and Global teams. The position supports Lenovo’s growth across PC, Data Center, and Services businesses through data‑driven decision‑making and standardized operating rhythms. The role operates in a hybrid work model and collaborates closely with EMEA and global stakeholders, with occasional travel as required.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary Sales Operations business partner to Italy Sales Leadership, providing actionable insights and advisory support
• Translate EMEA and Global commercial strategy into clear local execution plans and operating frameworks
• Lead country‑level sales planning processes, including target setting, phasing, and performance cadence
• Own sales forecasting, pipeline governance, and visibility across business units, segments, and routes to market
• Define, monitor, and communicate core sales performance metrics and executive dashboards
• Design, manage, and govern sales incentive plans aligned with business priorities and growth objectives
• Drive adoption, data quality, and effectiveness of CRM and sales systems at country level
• Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Marketing, Channel, and EMEA Operations to support transformation initiatives
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, or Revenue Operations within complex sales organizations
• Strong knowledge of sales performance management, forecasting, pipeline analysis, and incentive structures
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with CRM platforms and business intelligence tools
• Experience working in multinational environments within the technology or IT industry is preferred
• Fluent English is required; Italian proficiency is strongly preferred for local stakeholder engagement
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders through structured analysis, clear communication, and professional presence
• Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a collaborative approach within a multicultural environment
